The Head of Finance role is responsible for establishing and scaling a solid financial foundation for a global offshore services platform. This position combines hands-on accounting responsibilities in early stages with the design of financial systems, controls, and structures that support sustainable growth. The role acts as a strategic partner to leadership, focusing on financial analysis, risk management, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement group-wide accounting architecture across multiple entities and currencies.
Perform and oversee hands-on accounting activities, ensuring audit readiness and proper fund segregation.
Support complex client financial engagements with clear and defensible financial insights.
Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and unit economics analysis.
Implement internal controls, approval frameworks, and risk mitigation processes.
Partner with leadership on growth modeling, jurisdiction evaluation, and resource allocation.
Hire, onboard, and lead the finance team, defining roles, KPIs, and operational structures.
Identify and implement automation opportunities for forecasting and reporting.
Requirements
Certification: CPA or equivalent international qualification (mandatory).
Experience: 8–15+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including experience in top-tier firms.
Knowledge: Multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional financial structures within regulated environments.
Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate financial concepts to non-experts.
Languages: Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
